what does it do
The phone number authentication add-on in Booknetic is a feature that allows you to authenticate the mobile numbers of your users, ensuring that reservations are granted only to individuals with verified mobile numbers. This feature restricts access to users attempting to make reservations using fake or invalid phone numbers.
Verify users' phone numbers
This feature allows you to enable reservations only for users who have verified their phone numbers.
Register with mobile number
Your customers can register on your website using their mobile numbers.
Limit user appointments
This feature allows you to limit appointments and bookings based on customer usernames. e.g. two reservations per month
Log in with one-time passcode (OTP)
Your customers can easily access their customer panel without a username and password.
Register on Twilio.
You have to create an account for yourself in Twillo and get an Account SID and Auth Token.
set up the Twilio integration
Navigate to Integrations settings and enter the SID and Token you obtained from Twilio.
Verify users' mobile numbers.
Go to the booking steps and make mobile number verification mandatory for users.
